Well I said I wouldn't come back here but I just had to post this:

Below is an email I received from abuse which claims these are the messages sent to me and the dates and times sent. Also note the duplicates wherein the dates, times and # of games are the same... so he says 10 games when it reality its 6 but that isn't the point... below I will copy and paste my messages/reply to his crazy allegations. These are your FICS admins for you.

> Incorrect. I received ONE warning, and on that day I resigned the game from
> the person who complained.

The fact that you might not check your messages does not imply that they
have not been sent. Regards,

Abuse(*)

HERE is my reply with all of my messages :-)

Nice try but I check my messages. As you will see below there are no such messages from rebecca as you claim. Message #75 July 27th is the only message I ever received as you can also see. I don't care what you say obviously these messages didn't get sent to me properly, and thus it is unfair to punish me as I didn't know there was any such problem. After the first and only warning I took action whether you believe it or not, but that isn't the point the point is either there was some mistake and the messages were not sent properly or someone doctored my files to make it appear as if the messages were sent. Oh and don't say I didn't receive them because I had too many messages because I received the one on July 27th when I had too many messages already....as it is #75. (see below)

*portion of email removed because it just highlights the duplicate messages which I have already pointed out. I could have left it in but it would have be quite redundant as my first paragraph of this post covers the duplicates.*

Thanks for looking. I hope you can see the admins screwed up big time on this one but refuse to admit to it. In fact instead of admiting to it, or even trying to come up with some kind of lame excuse, they chose to ignore my reply PROVING my case.

I would also like to add that after receiving message #75 I contacted an admin about the message, and I don't remember his name because he was nice and understanding and said it wasn't a problem. Thus I didn't think twice about making note of whom I spoke with.

wow,

never saw so many adjudicated games before. It seems like you made a system out of disconnecting potentially won games to have them adjudicated as wins, avoiding the risk of slip or blunder, as well as disconnecting systematically on mate in one to avoid immediate loss. What i do not get (and i guess i am not alone) is your point. You didnt explain exactly why you dont immediately resign a game where you are mated and / or down masses of material when you log back in. You, Surely, are an abuser and its great to see the admins NOT argue endlessly with the abuser, for a change.

in fact there were 15 messages of games adjudicated in 2 years in like 20000 games. It might be more than average, but to me this doesnt look like 'never saw as many before'

Hard to say with emails on a forum if they are true, but if surely is correct, there is something wrong with the fics message system or we have seen another power trip by a fics admin.

Glad you can use your handle "Observer".. that proves you are of great character.

15 adjudicated games in 2 years isn't very much considering only about 5 of them were because of my disconnection. Not all of the disconnections were mine.

Also sorry to disappoint you yet again, but I only intentionally disconnected from ONE game. It was the bughouse game where my partners opp was lagging out. Maybe that's wrong but I think lagging and refusing abort is just as wrong. And it would have been fine if they would have just punished me for that one, because that I actually did do. But of course they should have talked to me about it first so I could have tried to explain instead of NOT getting the chance at all to even try to plead my case.

As far as the emails they are 100% true but of course that is hard to prove. But I really don't even know where to begin if I were to doctor something... and that just isn't my style to do something like that. Also, think about it, what would my motive be to do something like that? It wouldn't make sense.

So to sum up, actually you are alone in this one "Observer" you are the only one not to get the point. But I will reply to this one comment you made, as I felt I could have explained this better.... When I get disconnected and I'm able to log back into fics without much of a wait, I do resume or resign lost games. If I can't log back into fics that same day I tend to forget about stored games... unlike some ficsers chess is hardly ever on my mind AND had an admin brought it to my attention I would have went through the games and resigned/resumed where appropriate. But of course they decided its better to skip the whole process with me and give me the punishment without talk, without warning.

Its like when the police arrest someone who they think did the crime and they think they have evidence against him and they put him right in jail without having a judge or jury hear the case... oh wait... that doesn't happen.

Surely

All I ask is that you look at the facts and not let your feelings of like or dislike get in the way of your decision. The proof is there. Anyway I'm actually done with all this for real reals, again, have great lives. I do feel sorry for the chumps who think the admins are actually honest nice people... I'm sure there are some but there are others who just aren't what they pretended to be on their fics admin applications.
