I agree with fermy at least that SI does not deserve to be an admin. thru personal observations and listening to others he seems the most spiteful of the lot. As far as Seipman however, Ive personally never had any problems with him and i think the lifetime ban is as silly now as ever. i figured a year or 2 tops would have done the trick. |

First of all, we all knew the main defense would be that the log files were fake. Even though I've never posted a fake or altered log file in all the years I've been posting, we knew that would be the defense. Even though there are 50 pages of log file above, we knew that would be the defense. Because frankly, what other defense is there? Anyone can say anything is fake if they don't see it with their own eyes. There are always a few people who could sit down at my computer, see the last modified date on the log file as 6-30-99, see me open the file, and still not believe it.
It's comical that SI and Chessty can't even give a consistent defense. They contradict each other and they even contradict themselves depending on who they're talking to. For example:
From above:
Basicly he says parts of the log are faked (like him giving out the comment files)
Told to someone on the server earlier today:
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: but as i said, he served his sanction..and SI told us what happened himself long ago
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: he confessed
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: his actual crimes were givin out 3 comment files and keeping quiet about the dupe
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: *sigh* bad enough, though
So SI didn't give out comment files. Oh but wait he really gave out 3. But wait the log shows 4....
Here's another example. Chessty at the town meeting about me:
TownMeetings(*): the 'admin' in question was removed as soon as it was
discovered that he had been the source of admin leaks
Chessty from earlier today about SI:
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: his actual crimes were givin out 3 comment files and keeping quiet about the dupe
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: but as i said, he served his sanction
SI leaked comment files and allowed the "worst abuser of all time" to become an admin. Yet he was never removed.
Chessty on April 28, giving the reason why I can't come back to FICS:
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: you betrayed the admin team *shrug*
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: people don't take to betrayal and getting stabbed in
\ the back very kindly
Chessty(*)(SR) tells you: you were given a position of trust and you failed
Who else might this apply to?

He claims he admitted it all many years ago when he revealed DaySleeper as Seipman to the other admins after realizing that Seipman had not reformed his ways.
Okay.... so if SI did know who I was but didn't give out comment files, then I just told him who I was for nothing? And so if he didn't inform anyone about me for 2 1/2 years, he just felt out of the kindness of his heart that I had reformed, but at the same time didn't bother telling anyone else? This sounds a whole lot different from what he said in 1999:

SuperIntellect(TM) tells you: I give you those files (and maybe some more if you keep them for yourself), I'll make it ez on you and your friends here(special treatment), and make a recommendation for your dup to be an admin faster...
I think it's appropriate that a link to Flesh's page is included in this thread, because what is happening today among the administration sure sounds a lot like what was happening back then. |

How truly humanitarian of you to try to help FICS by getting rid of a corrupt admin, after personally infiltrating the admin team and causing all sorts of havoc. Yeah I bet you're doing all of this because you're a great guy and you've just been suffering the tyranny of SuperIntellect for too long. Bah.
Let's cut right to the important part: are you at all interested in helping FICS or its users, or are you just pissed at SI because he managed to play "the game" better than you did? Are you working for the good of the whole, or is this about you and your grudge? I know what my money's on. |

Bitter has a point there...people try to ad hom him instead of addressing the valid question "Whats seipmans motivation behind all this intrigue?"
Dont buy his lies...dont let him manipulate you. Question everything he or someone else says. Since when is it sufficient to post a faked log to force the one who is being badmouthed within to prove it wrong? Thats absurd comeon...dont have to be a law student to see how this is the perversion of all modern law principle. |

The funny thing is that admins apparently think that giving out comment files is worse than covering Seipman's dupe and moving it to admin position.
And of course, SI didn't give out comment files (well only 3). Why would he, he just helped Seip to become an admin. Jeez, what a joke. |

If you read it all once more you'll see, he got the comment files at the time SI also told him (Seipman) that he could help his dupe, which was just a TM on the way to the admins list. |
