Played few games, hit 2500, logged off and than came back from work and logged backed on. Vaboris decided to have nice chat with me.

sorry to say i see eye to eye with vaboris on this one, u did winquit, u did leave on 2500, and u used your work as an excuse ... u didnt even respond to vaboris's claim about the comfortable work excuse at the exact moment u reached 2500, instead u chose to defend yourself by saying he should let u enjoy those ratings, well enjoy it, it was well earned, but dont bullshit about "working" for your food while insulting vaboris for "not" doing so (i think the dude is 14 for christ sake).
Get into prespective fud, u winquitted and he got the right to be annoyed at you.
congrats on the 2500 btw, earning it while playing the best bugger in fics atm is quite an accomplishment however u 2 could have done without that cheap trash afterwards. |

Heh, what do I have to do? Give my work number so you guys can call me to check that I am not winquitting on purpose? This convsersation happened while I got back from work and was examining few of his games, and just out of the blue he starst insulting me. Well, I guess his age does explain his rudeness. If anyone gets this emotional and serious over some worthless games that will never amount to anything, then he/she needs find another hobby. Everyone should have the right to play whenever they want, quit whenever they want, without having someone harassing them all the time. |

Whatever. Winquitting is a little annoying to the opponents, but people can do it if they want. VABORIS could have just noplayed him instead of engaging in that long flame. What cracks me up the most though is the number of times I have seen VABORIS winquit and sit on a rating at both FICS and ICC. Anyway, congrats on 2500! |

Off the current subject matter at hand, if 2 people play a game and neither winquits, the ratings stay the same. Are poeple supposed to play 20 + games, and then work it out so that they have the exact same ratings as beofre they played? With no winquits, no ones rating would change. If somone plays me a couple games, then quits playing as soon as they are up points, i dont give a shit, i play someone else next. And when i'm tired of playing the same opp, which is usally just after a few games i do, whether i have won points or lost. Its only a game. |

Winquitting does not mean that you take points from your opp - thats part of the game.
Winquitting means to quit without announcing even "last" game. To be annoyed by that is not specific to bughouse or chess; the tradition of giving a chance for "revanche" is part of being a good sport. Therefore not doing so does not make you a cheater but rather displays lack of character to a certain amount...which makes sense here but thats another story.
However i remember seeing vaboris quit and sit on 2700 for weeks. It may be a good lesson. |

Are you kidding me? If I know the guy on the other side will get HATE if I winquit, then I go out of my way to do so.
I'll do anything to promote the HATE within the weak. And personally, when I see someone blow up like VABORIS did here or coke-bottle Blackcomb in Vegas - it just makes it all that much better and so justified. Nice work Fud. Fud and I don't see eye-to-eye on alot of things, but this was a masterpiece.
