Well, here's the scoop. Fermy, WhoAmI, Bugholio, SuperGrover, myself (NTT), and Intoxicated met up on Java City on Friday night. We all decide to go in middle of wherever, and Whoami was in the car with me showing me how to get there. After we ate, we all went home, except.. I did not of course, know how to get home. So intoxicated said he would lead me to the 134 fway, which is a freeway that I am familiar enough to get home. The problem is after we entered the freeway, he decided to go 80 mph, and leave my putt putt car in the dust. I got lost with all the signs and basically, got lost.
To the point, it created volcanic heat at the growth of a very exponential rate. I pretty much lucked out after looping around for a while, and so happen to bump into the 2 fway, which I so happen to be familiar with.
Anyway, Intoxicated, though you may have had fun with that, please don't do it, I was actually on edge emotionally, and I did not have a way to call home or anything to find out how to get out of there. And my gas tank was nearing empty, so I completely lucked out.

wtf nice attitude, he was unfamiliar with the road, gee. You promised to lead him to 134 fway so it is your freaking duty to see he gets there, dont promise something you have no intention of keeping. I wouldnt drop someone just because he was driving slow |

He never said he needed me to get him to the 134, only to the 10, and then he could figure it out from there. I dont know where he got the idea that I would lead him that far; I never said anything to that effect. By the way, if you weren't there you can't comment on what you know nothing about. If you were there, dont be a pussy and post as a guest. |

Ah, I don't want to make a big mess out of it. I know Intox is a cool guy though. Probably just miss-communication on my behalf. I think that it is time for me to invest in a Thomas Guide  It's all good, since I atleast made it home and such. However, if I didn't make it home.. well, that would be a different story I suppose. It just still sucked that I managed to get lost in LA. Anyway... ~~~All Good

I'm sorry but I am on Intoxicateds side. Anyone who knows Intox knows he does not drive under 80 even when in a school crossing zone! Also if you don't know how to get your ass home you got no business going out to Monterey Park which is only 5 miles from where you live.
You wanna hang out with the big boys you got to know how to gets your ass back home. And this stuff about not having gas is not Intoxicateds problem. If your car can't go faster than 45 you got no business out on a L A freeway with full speed traffic.
KingNTT you are a good kid but you got a lot of growing up to do. It's this kind of shit that got your account deleted. You got to plan your life a little better and stop letting your emotions get the best of you. Also you got to hold yourself accountable for your own actions instead of blaming others.
If you got noone to call at 2 am if you ran out of gas you got a lot more problems than getting lost on a freeway.

Rubber only part of that I agree with is that NTT has a lot to learn. Intox is not crap. You guys seem to think that NTT was left in the middle of nowhere. That is not the case. He was safely lead to a L A free way and he even says he lost sight of Intox on a L A freeway. For those of you who don't know the Los Angeles freeway system is the best in the world. All NTT had to do was stay in the direction which lead him towards his house and he should have easily found his way back. The place where we ate was 2 blocks south of the freeway. |

Whats so funny? For comparison, Berlin has 3.5 million people... LA area has over 15 million. Tell me how good their freeways would be with over four times the traffic. LA's freeway system is like a modern wonder of the world.

As one who lived in LA, their freeways are better than most but STILL SUCK!! They need AT LEAST one more going N-S because the 405 is the only one and its a PARKING LOT! |

Man I hate idiots who tell you to follow them then don't do jack shit to make sure you are behind them and floor it, usually especially at yellow lights. I'm not saying that's what intox did, but NITs story does bring bad memories back. That's even more rude than people who ask you to walk with them somewhere and then walk 3x faster than you care to walk and don't ever look back, even though they invited you. |

For most drivers, this kind of stuff is probably really easy. However, I just got my license last October, and I barely drive, nor do I go out much (explains why I still play bughouse at java City). Though the LA fway system may be the best, I still managed to lose the direction, Bugholio. Here's an example of what I was trying to get across: Take a chess player who has played chess for 5 years, and plays only chess. Now make him play Bughouse. He's lost! Despite how un-complex it may be, or how complex that it is, he is still lost. I really don't want to make an altercation from this, because you guys are still very cool. I am pretty sure you guys wouldn't go out of your way to screw, an already screwed up person. But what's important to me is that I am still here, and I am not lost anymore. So the whole thing is all good. I just think I'll get that Thomas Guide and make things more simple for myself
From the looks of this thread, I hope I am not leading people to think that Intoxicated is an asshole. He definitely is not. He actually partners me over the board (until zon is free). He treats me quite fairly 98% of the time, and that's all I really ask for. This whole thing was just over me getting lost in my little putt putt. Well anyways, no one got hurt (hopefully) and all is still ok, so it's all good.

My account went bye bye because at a point on fics, I was very quacky. I had issues of my own, but I began playing terrible, and losing to everyone. I finally went crackers, and pretty much got foxbat to Delete my account. This is definitely not one of the smarter things I have managed to do. Rather retarded if you ask me, but I managed to do that. I'm still growing Anyway, that pretty much explains the whereabouts of my KingNTT account.
And to Darkmorn, congrats on your 2000 rating
