Volcano just decided to add me to the abuser list for responding to his ch 0 mistell by saying +abuser me. Of course, even if I really wanted to be sanctioned for some reason, voluntary sanctions always come off when you asked for them to be removed. Think again! Volcano redefines the rules again: Seipman(2): It basically throws the rule book out and goes to a free-for-all type of system where the fittest survive (told 200 players in channel 2 "Discussions_about_FICS") a ok (told sebby) Challenge: VrtX (1859) Seipman (2085) rated bughouse 3 0. Your bughouse rating will change: Win: +14, Draw: +6, Loss: -2 Your new RD will be 34.7 You can "accept" or "decline", or propose different parameters. Tecumseh(2): interesting, the "help noescape" helpfile is empty. Not not here, just empty. volcano(2): "Seipman(2): So we're back to the old abusive days of disconnecting when mated in 1" If anyone complains about his doing so, +abuser him t 2 yes please +abuser me Seipman(2): yes please +abuser me (told 201 players in channel 2 "Discussions_about_FICS") Victory(SR)(2): noescape is pretty new You have been added to the abuser list by volcano. TheLagger(24): partner still needed t volcano come on (told volcano) volcano tells you: you asked. Tecumseh(2): it must be hard to copy the news text into the helpfile . I ask to be removed (told volcano) --> konovalov thanks Victory(SR)(2): yes it's quite hard . If I ask to be put on, then I can also ask to be removed (told volcano) . justjanie and Chessty said that was the case (told volcano) volcano tells you: due to your previous record and veiled threats, I suggest you take this up with abuse. Garf(2): it should be help v_noescape Garf(2): same for minmovetime btw t volcano fine I'll just paste your little mistell to foxbat (told volcano) --> konovalov yes Tecumseh(2): yes, my point was that when you type "help noescape" you get nothing, no "no such helpfile" message volcano tells you: it was a mistell. They happen. |

Cool, volcano already got overruled. Volcano had quite a rough 2 minute stretch there where he looked like an idiot putting a ch 0 tell into ch 2, then he lost bugger trust with the buggers I told, and now foxbat will come down on him after I complained. RULEZ |

volcano can be a prick sometimes, hes always doing things like that. i once said GrandmasterVic shouts: BAN ME! and volcano banned me, then when i asked to be unbanned, he did the same EXACT thing and said speak to abuse. |

Hmm...you all ask for the treatment, you get it, and then you whine about it...if you who whine showed the maturity you allegedly possess, you wouldn't be getting the treatment that you get. |

eh eh, this happennings are like "deja vu" for me. Before being filtered for life from FICS, I used to do several dupes ( I think I did 70 or more). As I never tried to hide me behind the dupes, adms often spotted me. One of the ways of recognize me is my taste for tennis. I liked to shout sometimes: "Dupe throws a tennis ball at volcano". Immediately, Volcano muzzled, banned and nuke me. Well, I know that I often said that, but I think he must to check and be sure that handle was a dupe, because that could be another guy . |

Volcano threatened to ban THE BLOODYBUGGER, when i put Sebby as a code. ( 19,5,2,2,25 ) a=1 b=2 break the code. Every other admin found it amusing and said it was fine. Except volcano, anyone else think this is slightly overusing power? That 1 admin can rule over 4? |

(e) Computers should always keep information about hardware/software in finger notes. This must include (at a minimum): the owner of the computer account, the type of machine it is being run on, and the engine that is being used by the account. Providing this information is mandatory, and not having it in your computer's finger notes may result in a loss of the account. Which part did you find difficult? |

I have to laugh out loud at the preceding post! The admins are giving something back to the server to help FICS...but, according to nfg, *they* are the bad guys?? Please, nfg, get a clue |

I bet formerUSCLadmin is the one known as BoondockBEND. NFG you are error, chess.net has way more faggy admins than FICS, and we all know how many faggy admins there are at FICS. |

yes, i was recently added to the abuser list by volcano also...for disconnecting in a bughouse game. I'll provide the scenario: RFrancisco-Vaboris Vampiregod-Vampyreslayer (rfrancisco+ vampiregod). VG and RF are up time, and VG get's lagged out, but not booted... RF's position is down material, but with the time adv he would be fine. VAB refuses abort, so RF must continue playing down material, else he will flag, since his partner is lagged out. When he disconnects to force his opponents to adjourn, or abort, which were BOTH OFFERED by he previously, he is added to the abuser list by volcano, for trying to force ettiquittes. So, i will tell everyone what i said in fics...FUCK YOU VOLCANO YOU STUPID DUMBSHIT COCKSUCKER!! |

careful you might get a perm ban. maybe the negatives of you trying to force people to have etiquette outweigh the positives of your presence on FICS. in foxbat's mind that is. never know. |

RFrancisco is still being childish, I see. When you're unbanned on FICS, I suggest "+noplay (name)" to those players who have abused you by refusing an abort midgame. Just a helpful handy suggestion... |

If you noplay all the players who abuse ettiquittes then it becomes very hard to find a game of bug on FICS. |

I SAW what happened and IMHO RFran made the mistake EARLIER! HE should have discon'd AS SOON as he saw his pard wasn't there. When he continue playing, he increased the problem. EVEN SO, opps SHOULD HAVE aborted. By the time he discon'd I'm not sure I would have done so. Problem there was that they keep playing while one of them keep having problems with discon and Vab was sick of aborting. They should have stop playing or boot out the player with problem NOW, what are the rules regarding this and if it is "enough" for banning? I DO NOT think so but then, I don't know the rules!! |

This is some dumb crap i hear here, saying in a channel "add me to the abuser list" should not be responded to just like saying to a channel "add me to admin list" should not... I see evil intent in complying to such bogus request ... I also think that the rules of dissconnection should be bent in a bughouse game, espcially when your part lags and opps refuse abort etc. |
